Asus & Acer will not release 8.9″ netbooks
In the 2Q of this year company Acer is planned to lay off models of netbooks Aspire One with 8.9″ screen, having saved the pipeline only 10.1″ netbooks. If to consider that this year Acer plan win about 40-50 % of the netbooks market it is possible to predict high popularity of such size computers.
Total in the world can be sold 25-30 million netbooks this year and in 2010 sale can grow to 40-45 million pieces.
This year netbooks with 10″ the screen will make to 95% of deliveries Asus, the others of 5 % will have on budgetary solutions with 7″ the screen, delivered against contracts with telecommunication providers.
